Awakenings… Part 6?!

Tis true, I’ve been working on it as promised… and here is a bit of what I have to show for all my hard work:

Emma placed her opened palms on either of June’s thighs, moving the bothersome material of the dress out of the way so that she could feel the warm tan colored skin underneath.  When she arrived at June’s hips, she pushed her firmly forward, making her bend slightly over the edge of the sink.  She waited as June moved the faucet all the way to the side before she continued.  She loved looking and touching June’s ass.  The way the skin was so smooth and tight, how it was so soft and could fill her hands aplenty.  Oh!  She was in heaven every time June allowed her this gift of lovemaking, these moments of fucking.  Fucking, because that was what she wanted this night.  She didn’t want to have to kiss any more tears of sadness or despair away from June’s cheeks and eyes, she didn’t want to have to console or coddle.  She wanted to re-meet the woman she had experienced a glimpse of that night she was invited up to the apartment.

June stood on the tips of her toes, causing her rump to rear up.  She felt Emma’s hands take their time going over her ass.  She sighed, bracing her hands on the edge of the sink.  Though she wasn’t sure what Emma had in mind, in that moment she decided anything would be better than the numbness that always managed to fill her chest and her senses these days.  She closed her eyes, trying to stay in the moment when she heard a nearby drawer open and almost immediately felt cold metal against her hip.  She gasped, opening her eyes wide in terror, wondering if maybe she had been wrong about Emma all along.

“Shhhhh… don’t worry.  Relax.”  She heard Emma’s familiar voice, raspy and tight with desire.  June breathed deep, staring at the blank wall in front of her.  She felt the cold metal slip under the swatch of underwear material on her hip, then turn outward.  The pointy tip pushed into her plump hip, then sliced its way through the fabric, partially falling away, exposing her ass.  She fought the urge to reach down and grab the loose pieces and force them back together.  Instead she moaned, then sighed a deep, heavy sigh.  June felt Emma’s hand hold the material down against her hip to slice the other side.  A thrill curled inside the small of her belly and she felt faint for a moment or two.  She heard the knife clatter as it was returned to its drawer and felt Emma’s hands around her waist, urging her off the tip of her toes.  She dared not turn around until otherwise instructed.

I don’t think you guys will be disappointed in this part at all :)

A few more weeks and I’ll have this puppy nice and polished for you all!

I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments – what do you think of this excerpt?

Truth

I’m not going to lie to you guys – I became discouraged.

So much so that I stopped writing.

Almost everything.

Even the Awakenings series.  I haven’t looked at it since… my last post here, in February.

I feel bad – those few of you who have stuck with me I’m sure, are waiting for the next installment.

I thought about abandoning this completely – completely.

But I checked on here and I’ve noticed that there has been steady traffic to this site, even in my absence.

I ♥ you guys… I really do :)

So… I will read over what I’ve written in the Awakening series and I will begin writing it again in the morning.

Your loyalty humbles me and I not only respect that, I need to reward it.

I love you all, I truly mean it,

Lesbian Erotic Writing – What It Is and What It Means To Me

Hey Guys!

I was ruminating the other night about the smut, porn, erotica that I write for you guys and what it means to me.  I know – this shouldn’t be one of those questions that keeps me up at night but what can I say?  It did keep me up and this write up is what I have to show for it.

When I began this lesbian erotica journey almost a year ago, I was honestly in it just for the money.  I read so many online forums and stories of folks making a living off of writing smut that I decided, why not?  I would give it a try and see how far I could go – it wouldn’t cost me much more than my time and imagination.  And anyway, how difficult could it be to write about two women getting it on?  Seriously.

But here I am, months later and I have to say, writing erotica, specifically lesbian erotica is not what I thought it would be.  I think I expected to find smart, well written, well thought out characters and situations.  I think I expected to be slowly (or roughly if that’s what I was looking for) seduced by the author’s words into getting my rocks off.  I was more than eager to sample various writings along the way and simultaneously make my mark.  I was excited to be a working author and to join the lesbian erotic writer’s in the smut lit fray!

I laugh at myself now because I had NO CLUE that lesbian erotica was such a miniscule pool and that much of the writings out there would be geared towards men, written by women who weren’t lesbian or written by a man.  Now before you go clicking away, I am not a man hating lesbian – I love men, they are pretty awesome and not just as the other 50% of the baby making equation or for fixing things.  As a card carrying lesbian, I am not averse to the male physique.  I just have no inclination to have sex with a man or to marry one.  My surprise is really at how under-served the lesbian erotic genre is.

Before I get tarred and feathered, I have run across some lesbian erotica authors who are really good but by far that would seem to be the exception and not the rule.  So I got to thinking some more – what do I want my writing to be?  What does it mean to me?

I want my erotica to be smart, I want it to be genuine, I want it to be encompassing, I want it to move and delight whomever is reading it.  I want my writing to stir my readers and compel them to examine their own reasons into love making or fucking.  I want it to be good in the least and memorable in the long run.

Though its been some time since I last published for you guys (I’ve been unwell for some weeks – booo!!) I want the erotica that I write for you all to matter.

So tell me – what does lesbian erotica mean to you?  And why do you read it?

Love You, Mean It,

Boobs!!!

Hey Guys!

I have to admit that I have a slight infatuation with the 1940s/1950s – something about the way the women dressed, how they carried themselves, the style of their hair.  I love that time period!  LOVE IT!

I also have to admit that I am a boob girl – I LOVE boobs!  (Who doesn’t, honestly.)  So imagine my delight in finding 1950s erotica – yes, I have the pictures to prove it!

Before you click that image – the gallery it leads to is NSFW!!!  AT ALL!!!

Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

But aside from the spammy porn links on the bottom of the page, the images of this woman are… breathtaking.  She isn’t this highly processed porn-star image that we have all been stunted by.  She is for lack of a better word, wholesome, natural.  There is a question as to whom she really is by the looks of the discussion happening within the forum (some have said she is Dagmar or Joan Blondell – neither of which seem to be true) but most can agree that she is gorgeous.

It makes me wonder what the lesbian ‘scene’ was really like during that time period.  I did my best in hashing out what it could have been like in Daddy-Oh! and Another Man’s Treasure, Parts 1 & 2 but seeing this unknown woman and her gorgeous body makes me wonder if I shouldn’t try to write another story, using her images as my inspiration – what do you guys think?!

Leave me a comment below if you would like to see another 1950s story written, with this mysterious woman as the main character.   And check out my books below as 1950s written lesbian erotica reference ;)

The Places I Have Come Out

Reblogged from Thought Catalog:

In the school library. My father is away at a conference for a distant summer in Germany. He will be the hardest to tell, I reason, for the missed linguistic cues, the generational gap as precarious as a lion’s hinging jaw, or rather, because he just doesn’t get it. It’s a safe bet. I write him a ten-page email, glancing at the other computer carrels.
